Study Centre Location
Monticello House, Anglo Educational Services; Study Centre, is ideally situated in Russell Square, Bloomsbury, which is considered to be the academic and cultural heart of London. Seven rooms, accommodating between 12 and 46 delegates, are suitable for meetings, conferences and classes.
We have worked with Anglo Educational Services to create a unique Study Abroad Program for students in the Construction Science Department of the School of Architecture at Texas A&M University. The program requires a significant amount of academic work in construction law and risk management for 9 weeks coupled with an 8 week construction internship program based in London. Over the years AES has put together a group of international and British-based construction companies that provide our students an inside look at the construction and real estate development industries in Great Britain. The program allows “boots on the ground” construction site visits as well as interaction with British professionals such as the Chief Executive Officer of the Crown Estate and numerous British scholars. The amount of time these third parties dedicate to the students’ understanding of the British construction process is invaluable to their development as construction professionals.W. We have rented rooms at Anglo Educational Services over a number of years. The classrooms, facilities and service are great. We have highly demanding students who are used to great learning spaces, so it’s absolutely vital that facilities we rent are excellent. AES has always been a pleasure to work with, going the extra mile if there are any issues. Monticello House is a Georgian building, which appeals to our students. Rooms are spacious and light; the modern fit out means they are also comfortable and well equipped with computers and projectors.Justin Vollmer,
Slippery Rock University and Anglo Educational Services have been working together since 1996, for short-term programmes in the UK and Europe, as well as for the occasional student internship. It is our ‘go-to’ programme provider and we would not be recognised as a leader in faculty-led programmes abroad without it. Most programmes come together easily, and even those with unexpected challenges eventually work out well, thanks to its staff’s dedicated efforts. When problems occur, from illness to weather or flight complications and everything in between, it is a relief to know that they are only a phone call away, 24 hours a day. It may take us months to build a solid programme, but the process is always professional and friendly at the same time. This past year, I had numerous faculty tell me that their programmes coordinated via Anglo were the best ever. Need I say more!Slippery Rock University,
